SWEDISH INVESTORS’ 51% SHARE PURCHASE IN ADVANIA HF.

LOCAL attorneys conducted legal and tax due diligence in Iceland and administered legal and tax due diligence in Sweden and Norway. LOCAL attorneys also provided consultation and assistance in relation to the purchase, the drafting of the contract and other documents and the financing of the purchase. Furthermore, LOCAL attorneys provided legal counsel in relation to the foreign currency restrictions in Iceland and accordingly advised on the legal structure of the investment.
The sale was one of the most extensive foreign investments in an Icelandic company since the financial crisis in 2008.
